Former Home Minister of Haryana Anil Vij said, "Congress leaders used to say before elections, 'I will fight, I will fight.' Now, looking at the sinking ship of Congress, they say, 'You fight, you fight.' That's why today Bhupinder Singh Hooda told Kumari Selja and Randeep Surjewala that he does not want to contest the election, you fight."

Sh. Vij was responding to questions from media persons today.

He said that former Chief Minister of Haryana Bhupinder Singh Hooda has advised Selja and Surjewala to contest Lok Sabha elections and has expressed his own unwillingness to contest. The former Home Minister said that in the party where it was said that 'I will fight' earlier, now it is being said 'you fight', it shows that the Congress ship is sinking, and how fearful these leaders are.

Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate commented on Kangana Ranaut, and Vij said that Supriya Shrinate, the national spokesperson of the Congress party, making indecent comments on BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut from Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) is nothing new because this is the culture of Congress. Former Prime Minister of Congress Narasimha Rao also mentioned this kind of thing on page 767 of his book 'The Insider', published in 1998.

"When a person becomes frustrated, loses courage, starts to drown, then he speaks in this manner." – Vij

A minister in the Karnataka Congress government said in a statement that those chanting 'Modi Modi' should be slapped. Reacting to this, Vij said, "When a person becomes frustrated, loses courage, starts to drown, then he speaks in this manner." Vij said that they should feel ashamed, and senior leaders of Congress should take notice of this.

"One whose own future is uncertain talks about making others' future." – Vij

Former National President of Congress Rahul Gandhi said in a statement that Congress wants to build the future of youth and BJP wants to mislead the youth, to which Vij sarcastically said, "One whose own future is uncertain talks about making others' future." It seems like a joke; first, look at your own future.
