Union Minister Anurag Thakur today reached Kangra airport from Delhi and will visit his constituency Hamirpur and Una in coming days. He was given a grand welcome at the airport by the BJP workers. At the airport he took some time out and had a brief discussions with media journalists present there.
He said that, it is the relentless dedication of our workers that in both the previous elections in 2014 and 2019 BJP won all the four seats in Himachal Pradesh and it is no surprise that this time too our party members are working day and night and leaving no stone unturned to give the same result this time round in Lok Sabha elections and we will win all the four seats same as before.
He further took a dig at Sam Pitroda's statement on inheritance and property tax and said that Congress parties money making policies start as soon as they come in centre. Whenever they come in power businessmen and industrialists have to shell out huge sums of money, however this time, Congress party has hit a new low in the form of inheritance tax, they are going to tax you forever, now your property is not going to be inherited by your children entirely but a huge chunk of it will go to government coffers, it is also mentioned in their manifiesto. They will collect tax from you and for appeasing their vote bank they will distribute this money between them.
Under their rule nothing is safe neither your property nor countries boundaries. They never did anything to make our army strong, no high quality bullet proof jackets were provided. In last 10 years of their rule no new combat planes were inducted, they simply planned for commission in defence deals and since no one was giving them any commission they did not purchase any combat planes. This is not the case with BJP government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi our borders are secure and defence system is much stronger.
He further added that, it is nature of Congress party to release baseless political statement from time to time to grab power in the centre. Same is the case with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the party whose top league leaders are in jail for corruption from Punjab to Delhi, other party members of AAP party should resign.
