The founder of the 'Art of Living' and spiritual leader Shri Shri Ravi Shankar said that the Himalayan heritage its culture needs to be saved, it is of profound value for the humanity. It is equally important to pay attention to the environment in this belt which binds life not only in this region but the entire Indian peninsula. There is need to pay attention not only to the forest areas but also some rare species that need special attention, it is our duty. 


Today Guruji was speaking in 'Anandotsav' held at Dharamshala indoor stadium where he interacted with media personnel's as well. He emphasised need and importance of such programmes because of todays stressful lifestyle.


He further divulged that, they have started programmes especially for young people and going to sign MoU with many Universities in the State. We have training programmes for youth how to be stress free in young age, solutions and practices for young people who are suffering from depression or aggression. These training programmes are tailored made to cater needs of todays youth.


He pointed that, under programs like 'Anandotsav' crores of people across the globe have come out of drug problem. He also talked on the importance of voting in democracy and urged people, especially young to go out and vote in these upcoming Lok Sabha elections, make it your duty, your voice matters.
