Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah accused opposition minister Rahul Gandhi of slandering with regards to Government's Agniveer scheme. Since he became minister there is new trend in Indian politics. Earlier real facts were twisted and presented in front of the people, however nowadays even lies are twisted and presented as facts. This new trend has been started by none other than Rahul Gandhi.

He added that, recently unfounded rumours are being spread against Agniveer scheme across the country that after 4 years of service in this scheme 75% of Agniveers will have no future opportunities, this scheme is going to destroy their lives. On the contrary in this scheme 25% Agniveers will get permanent postings in the Army, for the remaining 75%, in the BJP governing states there is 10-20% reservation in Police Force and in Central government's Para Military Force there is 10% reservation. Apart from reservation they will also get many benefits in selection procedures, for instance relaxation in age bracket, some advantage in examination, and exemption from physical test. It is highly unlikely that after providing these benefits any one could miss being in Police Force or Para Military Force.

He further added that, even after these benefits there are many private security agencies and companies those who will give priority to Agniveers in their process. Now under this scheme a young Indian will be trained on Government fees for four years and will be trained for real job and will become independent.

No Agniveer will face any disadvantage due to this scheme. Rahul Gandhi is simple spreading lies to benefit his party in these elections. Union Minister urged youth of the country to not entertain such rumours by ministers. After Agniveer, graduating youth will get job in Army, Police Force or Para Military Force and other government facilities including pension and gratuity will be given too.
