Central University Himachal will share Research and Academic activities, signed MoU with INFLIBNET.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Central University, Dharamshala and Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre, Gandhinagar to promote quality education and high level research. The MoU aims to collaborate for R&D in designated disciplines of library and information science or any other branch of library and information science. The MoU was signed in the VC Secretariat in this regard.


During the signing of the MoU, Vice Chancellor of Central University Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal, INFLIBNET Director Prof. Devika Madalli, Registrar of Central University Prof. Suman Sharma, Dean of the School of Mathematics, Computer and Information Science Dr. Dimple Patel, Head of Department of Library and Information Science Dr. Shivram Rao K. were present.


Both the institutes are willing to collaborate on items not only covered under the MoU but also other related fields. They showed interest in sharing knowledge in the field of Knowledge Based Enterprises, Technical and Management Skills suitable for future technology development, exchange of information and work towards effective Research Institute and Academic Partnership for Human Resource Development and Research and Development.  


Together the institutions will reciprocate infrastructure facilities to pursue research and operate R&D programmes and going forward will also participate in exchange programmes.
