Chinese soldiers start trembling in fear when they learn that Gorkha soldiers are arriving and will lead the next onslaught. Some time back situation like this happened in Sikkim's Nathu La region, Chinese were seen on the back-foot when the Gorkha soldiers arrived. This was brought to light by former MP of Sikkim Dil Kumari Bhandari, during a meeting with journalists, who is currently touring Dharamshala.

Dil Kumari Bhandari attended an event organised by Master Mitrasen Literature Music Assembly Bhagsu Dharamshala and more importantly was Chief Guest in the function. She added that Chinese claims on the border are baseless and have no substance we will not give in a single inch of our land. We know our lands and borders, we will fight for the same till the last drop of our blood and our soldiers will not step back. We will not keep silent because Chinese are deemed formidable. We know how to defend our lands.

She further added that, how much the Chinese may try we will keep giving them a befitting reply. Skirmish like situation that happened in Nathu La is testimony of the power of Gorkha soldiers where Chinese soldiers took a back seat.
