Bihar Congress protested against the widespread rigging in NEET UG examination. Under the leadership of State Congress President Dr. Akhilesh Prasad Singh, a large number of Congressmen gathered at the Income Tax Golambar in the capital on Friday and raised slogans against the BJP government.

The State President expressed strong objection to the rigging taking place in the competitive examination. He said that wherever there is BJP rule, such incidents have been happening regularly. Under the BJP rule, the country's education and examination system is always under the gambit of rigging. The cases of paper leaks are continuously increasing. It started with the Vyapam scam in the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan and reached Bihar via Uttar Pradesh.

During the BJP rule in Uttar Pradesh, there was hardly any examination in which the paper was not leaked or rigged, that is why Congress made paper leak a national issue and included it in its manifesto. He said that actually BJP has failed to understand the importance of education and examinations. Youth are already suffering from depression due to the sting of unemployment and such cases break them at the emotional level.

Dr. Singh said that youth is the future of the country and playing with their future means pushing the country into an abyss. Throughout the year children burn the midnight oil preparing for the exam, and it is revealed that the education mafia leaks the papers with the protection of the government. This is a disgusting game which wreaks havoc into the lives of students. National Testing Agency has become a national shame and joke, because this kind of incident is not the first.

This needs to be thoroughly investigated and the basic structure of the entire system needs to be fixed, so that the credibility of the examination remains in the minds of the young generation. Among the leaders who participated in the protest, Congress Legislative Council Party leader Dr. Madan Mohan Jha, Councillor Dr. Sameer Kumar Singh, former MP Ajay Nishad, MLA Neetu Singh, Pankaj Paswan, Nidhi Pandey, Rajnandan Kumar and others were prominent.
