Bihar JDU State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha and Bihar Government Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary addressed the press conference at the state office, Patna.

Addressing the press conference, Vijay Kumar Choudhary said that with the blessings of the public, when the NDA government was formed under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the year 2020, we had placed before the public the outline of our scheduled programs under Saat Nishchay Part 2. Our government had paid special attention especially to the problems related to the youth and made a detailed action plan for their employment.

Vijay Kumar Choudhary said that the opposition parties may keep claiming anything but Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has proved by releasing department-wise authentic data related to jobs that working in the interest of the youth is the first priority of the Nitish Government.

He said that till now more than 5 lakh 16 thousand government jobs have been given by the state government under Saat Nishchay Part 2, all the processes of appointment for 1 lakh 99 thousand posts have been completed, now only appointment letters are left to be distributed. The government has sent requisitions for 2 lakh 11 thousand new appointments to various commissions, apart from this, our government will appoint about 3 lakh posts in the next 1 year.

We have left no stone unturned in timely fulfilling the promises we had made to the people of Bihar and as a result of the honest efforts of our government, we have achieved better results than the set target. Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that ever since the NDA government was formed in the year 2020, the process of providing jobs to the youth has been going on continuously.

It is not at all the case that jobs were given within a specific period of time, this process is going on continuously and we will do it with more promptness in the coming year. He said that whatever appointments have been made are the result of the positive initiative and determination of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, no one else should even try to take credit for it because the people of the state are aware of the reality.

Umesh Singh Kushwaha added that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar only believes in work but the opposition parties are desperate to take false credit without any work. Nitish government had promised to provide 10 lakh government jobs and 10 lakh employment (jobs in various government related schemes, commissions and other ventures such as supporting self employment schemes) under Saat Nishchay Part-2 in the year 2020. Today we are happy to tell that in the matter of providing government jobs, our government is going to reach the figure of 12 lakhs and in the field of employment this figure will go up to about 22 lakhs i.e. double the promise made. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given a new impetus to the progress of Bihar despite limited resources.

On this occasion, party's MLC Sanjay Kumar Singh alias Gandhi, party's chief spokesperson cum MLC Neeraj Kumar, MLC cum Treasurer Lalan Kumar Saraf, MLA Vinay Kumar Chaudhary, state spokesperson Abhishek Jha and Prof. Naveen Arya were present.
