CPI-ML General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya said in Patna that the mandate of Lok Sabha elections 2024 is against the Modi government. The direction of the mandate is in favour of the Constitution and the policies of democracy and public welfare. Modi's claim of crossing 400 has fallen flat. Bharatiya Janata Party has suffered a deep blow in Uttar Pradesh, which Modi-Shah and Yogi have been considering as their stronghold.

Dipankar Bhattacharya along with party's state secretary Kunal, Dhirendra Jha, newly elected MP. Rajaram Singh and MLA Shiv Prakash Ranjan and members Sudama Prasad, Sandeep Saurabh today held a press meet.

CPI-ML General Secretary acknowledged that, the intensity of the mandate was lacking. Though BJP which has emerged as the largest party and NDA government is going to be formed at the centre, but it is clear that the country has said that dictatorship of Modi and Amit Shah is not needed.

A Lok Sabha Speaker like Om Birla, who runs the House in an undemocratic manner, is also not needed. Only time will tell to what extent NDA will respect the mandate, but the India alliance is completely united and determined to carry forward the spirit of the mandate. CPI-ML General Secretary also said that we won two out of three Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar. We were victorious in an assembly by-election also. There was a tough contest in Nalanda, but the election results are not as per our expectations.

Exit polls have emerged as a big scam during the elections itself. Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah went to Adani's channel and appealed to buy shares in the name of exit poll.

This clearly shows that the exit poll was also fully sponsored but after June 4, there was a huge fall in stocks and small investors are facing huge loss of about Rs 30 lakh crore. This is nothing but an extreme scam. Open rigging has also come to light in the NEET results. How so many people became toppers is a matter of serious investigation. NDA is starting its journey with stock market rigging and playing with the future of students.

JDU and TDP have a big role in the NDA government, but the kind of things Nitish Kumar said in the NDA meeting is very worrying. We hope that JDU will remain firm on its issues. Nitish Kumar should have taken Modi's guarantee on the issue of special status to Bihar and caste census, but I don't know what Nitish Kumar will do on this?

Newly elected Congress MP from Karakat Rajaram Singh also said that Nitish Kumar should support the India alliance. The way Modi destroyed the social fabric of the country. The mandate is against Modi. Newly elected MP from Arrah, Sudama Prasad said that in the House, we are talking about remunerative prices of crops for farmers, irrigation system, strengthening of retail traders hit by demonetisation and GST, dignified life of poor gurus and employment for students and youth.

Sandeep Saurabh, MLA candidate from Nalanda supported by India Alliance, said that we may have lost in Nalanda, but we got widespread support from the public. We will campaign in the coming days on the issues of education, employment and displacement and will raise those issues in the Assembly. He thanked the people of Nalanda for their huge support. Of the newly elected MLA of Agiaon. Shiv Prakash Ranjan said that our victory is the victory of justice against injustice.
