Dr. Arun Kumar, who recently resigned from the post of National Vice President of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), joined Bahujan Samaj Party. Along with this, he has announced to contest elections from Jehanabad parliamentary constituency. In this regard, a comprehensive strategy will be made in the meeting of supporters and well-wishers called on the 28th of April. The meeting has been called at Arun Kumar's Patna residence.

Arun Kumar, who has been an MP from Jehanabad, said that a decision to this effect has been taken after the people of the area convinced him to contest the elections. Since leaving LJP, the phase of dialogue with supporters and political colleagues is continuing. In this context, discussions were also held with like-minded political parties. Positive talks were made with those political parties which could guarantee respect for the upper castes along with the interests of the Bahujan community and the exploited and deprived.

He said that after a long discussion, the decision to join Bahujan Samaj Party was taken. It was also decided that the election should be contested from Jehanabad parliamentary constituency only. The election strategy will be finalised after consultation in the meeting of supporters and well-wishers on the 28th of April.
