The two-day Tansen Mega Music and Dance Fest – 2024 was launched by Tansen School of Music at the local Vidyapati Bhawan. The program was formally inaugurated by lighting the lamp jointly by the chief guest, former Union Minister and MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, Tansen School of Music CEO Captain Ashutosh Kumar and MD Vandana Kumar.


The program started with the presentation of Kathak dance on Saraswati Vandana by the children of Tansen School. 


After this, the children presented Bharatnatyam dance on Mahakali theme, Shiv Parvati marriage, Kathak dance on the origin theme of Mother Ganga, seeing which all the spectators were mesmerised. The main attraction of the program was Kathak dance on Ramayana theme, which the children performed brilliantly and won the applause of the audience.


After this, children from different branches of the institute presented many songs along with salsa and fusion dance performances. Tansen night of the Year was also organised in the program in which the children performed brilliantly.


Addressing the program, Chief Guest Ravi Shankar Prasad praised the dance-music skills of the children of Tansen School and wished them all the best for their eighth anniversary. He said that classical dance and music are an important part of our cultural heritage. He encouraged the children with his address. 


Tansen School of Music CEO Captain Ashutosh Kumar praised all the performances and congratulating the institute for their diligent efforts said that, I am very happy that our institute has successfully completed eight years and is going strong.
